Laura Translator

My translation services

I have experience and knowledge in Family Law, Criminal Law, Commercial Law and Maritime Law.

I will treat each translation assignment with utmost care. I perform three revisions at different levels after doing the first draft translation. First, I check the document against the original version. This allows me to spot mistranslations.

Secondly, I check grammar and terminology. Last but not least, I check spelling and readability.

You will get a natural-sounding translation with flawless grammar, excellent readability, and the most appropriate terminology.

I will research the most appropriate terminology for your target audience. For example, the terminology used in Spanish leases is different to that of Venezuelan lease agreements. And Spanish is spoken in both countries. If I use Venezuelan terms in a Spanish agreement, the Spanish reader won't understand the document.

As you may know, some certificates are laid out in tables. I will reproduce a similar formatting in a Word document and I will describe every seal, signature and any other element of the document.

It's not about machine-translating the text and that's it. It's about researching, revising and formatting. All these tasks are involved in a proper translation.
